Certified Financial Planner™ Zaneilia Harris, President of Harris and Harris Wealth Management Group, LLC, announces her appointment to the CNBC Digital Financial Advisor Council.

The appointment, which took effect in January 2015, has Harris joining a team of wealth management professionals who will share insights and financial advice with CNBC viewers. CNBC is owned by the NBC Universal News Group and broadcasts a schedule of programs featuring business news and financial markets information.

I am really looking forward to using my experience to educate and inform consumers about how to structure their finances so they can prepare for their futures and take advantage of investment opportunities,” Harris says.
Her expertise covers more than 20 years in finance and accounting with companies like Merrill Lynch, Edward Jones Investments, PricewaterhouseCoopers, and The NASDAQ Stock Market. As President of Harris and Harris Wealth Management Group which she started in 2009, Harris provides financial advice and expertise to women professionals. She is also a financial educator as part of the Savvy Women Investor Circle (SWIC), an educational program designed for women to gain knowledge and guidance around building and growing their investment assets. Harris is a graduate of Saint Paul’s College in Lawrenceville, Virginia, and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration with a concentration in accounting.
In 2013, she was recognized as Washington, D.C.’s People Choice for Wealth Management and was the 2012 recipient of the Financial Planning Association’s Diversity Scholarship Award. Her blog, Finance ‘n Stilettos, was also recognized by Investment News as one of the best blogs for women and investing.
